Promo Codes help you attract new clients, run promotions, and increase conversions without manual intervention. They ensure discounts are applied consistently and automatically during the purchase process.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Access Promo Code settings: My Company > Products > More > Promo Codes
– This is where you manage all active and inactive Promo Codes.
– You can also reach your Promo Codes via the Marketing Module.
Step 2: Create a new Promo Code: Promo Codes > + New Promo Code
– Enter a clear and recognizable code (e.g. WELCOME2026 or SUMMER10). Codes are not case-sensitive.
Step 3: Select the discount type
– Choose between a percentage discount, fixed amount, or a combination of both.
Step 4: Define the discount value
– Enter the percentage and/or fixed amount depending on your selected configuration.
Step 5: Configure usage rules: Discount Code Settings > Valid Until / Usage Rules / Applicable Products / Client Groups
– Set expiration dates, limit usage (single-use, one time per client, or unlimited), and define which Products or client groups can use the code.
Step 6: Save the Promo Code
– Once saved, clients or leads can enter the code during checkout when purchasing a Product.
Best Practice
Use simple and campaign-specific names for Promo Codes so they are easy to communicate and track (e.g. NEWCLIENT, BLACKFRIDAY).
