How to manage Product Visibility Settings (i.e. hidden products, purchase links and booking-module)

Product visibility settings control where and how clients can find and purchase a Product (credit products like memberships or credit packs). By adjusting the visibility, you can decide whether a Product is visible in your Shop, is only available during booking, can only be purchased through a direct checkout link, or is completely hidden.

Visibility settings help you control how your credit-products are offered to clients.

For example, you may want to keep certain products hidden so only staff can assign this to particular clients, sell special offers through a direct link, or make specific products available only when clients book an activity.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Go to your products: My Company > Products
 – This is where all Products in your account are created and managed.

Step 2: Open the product you want to change the visibility for by clicking on the product or clicking the 3 dots on the right and select ‘edit’. 

Step 3: Go to the visibility settings: you will find this below the product description.
– Here you can control where and how clients are able to find and purchase the Product. Below is an explanation of each option. 

  • Visible means that anyone can see this product at all times in your shop or while booking in your calendar or booking module. 

  • Hide completely means that no clients can find this product or purchase it themselves, only the admin or certain staff members will be able to assign this product to clients, the people that have this product will still be able to use it. 

  • Only via Checkout Link means that anyone with the link to the product can purchase it (this is not a one-time-use link but a fixed link for the product).

  • Only via Booking Module means that it is only visible and can be purchased while booking (through the calendar or through the booking module on your website) 

Best Practice

Choose the visibility option that best matches how you want to sell and promote the Product. For example, use booking module-only visibility for specific session products linked to specific activities, and use checkout links for promotions or private offers.

Common Questions

What does “Visible” mean?
 – The Product is visible to all clients in the Shop, via the link and can also appear during the booking process in the calendar or booking module.

What does “Hide completely” mean?
 – Clients cannot see or purchase the Product themselves. Only an admin or authorized staff member can assign the Product to a client. Clients who already have the Product can still use it.

What does “Only via Checkout Link” mean?
 – The Product can only be purchased through its direct checkout link. Anyone with the link can purchase it, and the link does not expire. This link is not ‘unique’ or one-time only so if the link is shared anyone can buy the product. Ideal for promotions through social media or other channels. 

What does “Only via Booking Module” mean?
 – The Product is only visible and available for purchase when a client is booking either through the calendar or the booking module on your website.
