Quick Summary

Trainin provides easy-to-use reports that help you understand how your activities are performing. These reports give clear insights into bookings, attendance, occupancy, revenue and more so you can evaluate the success of your sessions.

By regularly reviewing these reports, you can make data-driven decisions to improve your schedule, optimize class capacity, and increase revenue.

Why This Matters

Understanding how your activities perform helps you grow your business. Reports allow you to identify which sessions are popular, which time slots perform best, and where improvements can be made.

With insights such as occupancy rates, booking trends, and revenue per session, you can optimize your schedule, adjust capacity, and focus on the activities that generate the most engagement and income.

Step by Step Approach

Step 1: Open the reporting dashboard: Go to Reports
– The reports dashboard provides access to multiple reports that give insights into bookings, sessions, attendance, and revenue.

Step 2: Review the session summary report: Go to Reports > Sessions > Summary
– Get an overview of all sessions within a selected time period to quickly understand how your activities are performing.

Step 3: Analyze activity performance per location: Go to Reports > Sessions > Location Summary
– If you manage multiple locations (Premium), this report shows how activities perform at each location so you can compare performance across venues.

Step 4: Monitor occupancy of your activities: Go to Reports > Sessions > Occupancy (group)
– View the average occupancy of activities to understand how full your sessions are and which activity is most popular. Adjust your calendar by analyzing these stats.

Step 5: Review attendance and no-shows: Go to Reports > Sessions > Attendance (group)
– Track how many participants attend sessions and identify patterns in no show behavior.

Step 5: Review cancellations per activity: Go to Reports > Sessions > Cancellations
– Track the amount of cancellations per activity.

Step 6: Analyze revenue per activity and per session: Go to Reports > Sessions > Revenue / Revenue per session
– Understand how much revenue each session generates so you can identify your most profitable activities.
– Take a more deep dive and see which sessions generate the most revenue and filter for example on teacher or location.

Step 7: Review booking insights: Go to Reports > Bookings
– Access booking reports such as trial bookings, paid bookings, cancellations, no-shows, and check-ins to better understand booking behavior.

Best Practice

Review your reports regularly, weekly or monthly, to detect trends in activity performance. This helps you quickly adjust schedules, improve attendance, and optimize your capacity planning.

Pro Tips

  • Use the occupancy and revenue reports together to understand both demand and profitability. A session may be fully booked but still generate less revenue than another activity.

  • You can also use booking reports to identify patterns such as high cancellation rates or frequent no-shows and adjust your policies or schedule accordingly.

  • Tip: Our penalties feature can help you to decrease the amount of late cancellations and no-shows. Send a message to support@trainin.com for more information.
