Follow this structured roadmap to configure Trainin correctly from day one. Setting everything up in the right order prevents billing, booking, and credit issues later.

Why This Matters

  • Trainin manages your Membership logic, Credit Pack structure, Automated Payments, Activities, and Schedule visibility.

  • If the setup order is incorrect, recurring payments may fail and credits may not deduct properly.

Main Goal

The Trainin setup process is divided into seven phases. Each phase prepares a specific part of your platform before the next configuration step.

By completing the phases in order, you ensure your payments, products, activities, and schedule work together correctly.

System Setup Phases

  1. Business & Payment Setup: Configure your business identity, payment infrastructure, and global booking rules.
    Goal: Your business identity and payment system are ready to accept automated payments.

  2. Team Setup: Add staff members and define permissions for your team.
    Goal: Your team structure and permissions are configured so staff can manage bookings.

  3.  Product & Activity Setup: Create the products you sell and define the services clients can book.
    Goal: Your products and services are ready for clients to purchase and book.

  4. Schedule Setup: Add activities to your calendar and structure your operational schedule.
    Goal: Your activities are scheduled and visible in your calendar.

  5. Client Setup: Add or import your clients and assign them the correct Memberships or Credit Packs.
    Goal: Your existing clients are added to the platform and ready to book.

  6. System Check: Verify that payments, credits, products, and bookings work correctly together.
    Goal: Your payments, bookings, and credits are verified before launch.

  7. Go Live. 
    Goal:Your schedule is published, and clients can begin booking

  • If migrating from another system, design your product structure before importing clients.

Common Questions

Do I need to complete all phases before clients can book?
 – Yes. Payments, products, activities, and the schedule must all be configured before bookings can work properly.

Can I change settings after going live?
 – Yes. Most settings in Trainin can be adjusted after launch as your business grows; however, not all changes work retrospectively, which means you might need to do extra work to implement changes, for example, for assigned products. This is why a good initial setup will go a long way and avoid extra work soon after launching.
