Phase 3: Product & Activity Setup

Phase 3: Product & Activity Setup
Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes
Applies to: All Plans (some for PRO & Premium)

Quick Summary

Define the types of products you want to offer and what the client can sign up for or do with these products. This phase connects your (credit)products and activities, making sure purchases and bookings are set up correctly.

Why This Matters

Products determine how clients pay for your services (activities), while activities determine what clients can book and under which conditions.

If these two elements are not configured correctly, clients may purchase the wrong product, receive the wrong credits, bookings may fail, or activities may not appear in the schedule.

By setting up products and activities properly, you ensure that purchases, credits, and bookings work together seamlessly so clients can easily buy access and reserve their spot in your sessions.

Main Goal

Phase 3 builds the revenue and service structure of your Trainin setup.

In this phase, you create the products clients purchase and the activities clients can book. Products determine how clients gain access to your services, while activities define the sessions that appear in your schedule.

Monthly Memberships (subscriptions)
– Recurring subscriptions designed for your regular clients. Memberships typically provide credits on a recurring basis (for example, weekly or monthly), which clients can use to book activities.

Credit Packs
– Flexible “pay-as-you-go” options that provide a fixed number of credits. These credits act as a form of booking currency that clients can use to reserve spots in activities.

Activities
– Activities represent the services your business offers, such as Yoga classes, Personal Training sessions, or Workshops. Each activity has its own booking rules, credit cost, capacity limits, and schedule.

Product–Activity Mapping
– Products are connected to activities to determine what a client can book. This ensures that even if a client owns multiple credits, they only reserve a spot in a class when they make a confirmed booking with the right type of credit for the activity.

2. Create Your Activities: Define the services that clients will be able to book.

Best Practice

You can duplicate both products and activities with similar properties so you do not need to configure everything from scratch.

Tips

  • Start with a simple product structure and expand later if needed.

  • Test a product purchase before launching your platform to confirm credits are assigned correctly and activities can be booked.

Common Questions
